Theme 1 Research , Nicholas Goodden.

"If you produce a good photo that people enjoy then it's mission accomplished.
I'm not a snob, I don't care if someone uses film or digital, a professional camera, a Polaroid or their phone, retouches with Photoshop or not.
Photography is simply being in the right place at the right time, ready to shoot and seeing things others don't."

Nicholas Goodden is a photographer based in London since 1999 who mainly pictures London urban scenes , according to his website he was also the winner of the f/Factor award at the London Photo Festival 2011.

His main body of work is street scenes of London but there are many other areas which he excels in with really good images from still life pictures of flowers to really interesting images taken on the London Underground as shown below.

I particularly liked this one , to have captured this woman looking exactly how you would imagine yourself feeling,  takes a lot of patience and self belief within you.To be able to ignore all the surrounding noise of people and what must be busy platform and also being able to get on with your photography without being unnerved by people staring  at you and maybe complaining to you takes great skill. The above image is titled " Cosy " with a comment by Nicholas of ," That face sums up the feeling we all have when packed like cattle and sniffing our fellow passenger's armpit". Sums it up precisely.
